Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma is scheduled to attend a massive rally organized by Tipra Motha at Khumulwang, the headquarters of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) on October 14.
Announcing this, former Tipra Motha president and royal scion Pradyut Kishore Manikya Debbarma said it was the first instance of a chief minister of another state attending a regional party rally along with its cabinet minister to demonstrate solidarity and unity.
“On October 14, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma along with his cabinet members will join our massive rally to support our call for a constitutional solution,” Debbarma said.
“I urge everyone to come to Khumulwang and send the message that the Tiprasa community is strong and determined in fighting for our rights,” he said.
