Under the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign, several Amrit Kalash special trains are being run across the country for the delegation to reach New Delhi. These trains will start reaching New Delhi from 27th of this month.
The cultural ministry said the train from Tripura and Meghalaya will reach Delhi on Friday, while the train from Assam and Sikkim will arrive on October 28.
From different parts of the country will reach New Delhi by 30th of this month.
The nationwide ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign was launched on August 9 this year to pay tribute to the ‘heroes’ who laid down their lives for the country.
The ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ carrying soil in 7500 pots from every corner of the country will end on 30th of this month.
After that, a ‘Amrit Batika’ will be made near the National War Memorial by mixing 7500 pots of soil and saplings.
This ‘Amrit Batika’ will also become a huge symbol of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’.
