Modi-Emmanuel Holds Joint Press Conference In Paris

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to France. After a bilateral meeting with President Emmanuel Macron, PM Modi said that France is known for humanity all over the world. He is proud to be in France. 

PM Modi said, “Yesterday I got the highest honor of France, it is the honor of the entire 140 crore Indians. The National Day of France is a symbol of ‘freedom, equality and brotherhood’ for the world. India and France have always been in the fight against terrorism. have been allies.”

PM Modi said, “Defence cooperation has been a fundamental pillar of our relations. It is a symbol of deep mutual trust between the two countries. France is an important partner in Make in India and self-reliant India. Be it submarines or naval ships, we want to work together not only for our own, but also for the cooperation of third friendly countries”

Modi said that we will open a new Indian consulate in the city of Marseille. We welcome the decision to grant long term visas to people of Indian origin studying in France. The Prime Minister also invited French universities to set up their campuses in India. 

The Prime Minister said, “We believe that all disputes should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. India stands ready to contribute to the restoration of lasting peace. The effects of the Covid pandemic and the Ukraine conflict have been felt across the world. These have had a particularly negative effect on the countries of the world.It is a matter of concern.It is necessary for all the countries to make united efforts to solve these problems”

At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron said, “I am proud to see the Punjab Regiment here at the Bastille Day Parade in Paris. We are moving forward on the basis of a historical belief. Together, India and France can find solutions to global crises. We cannot forget the youth. By 2030, we want to send 30,000 French students to India.”

Emmanuel Macron said, “For young Indians who want to pursue higher education in France, we want to create a favorable visa policy. We want to save the world from the rejection of the international community and that’s why we have adopted the Paris Agenda and the new financial We have worked together on a global compact. We all want the establishment of an international order that leads to peace and development.”
