CITU Tripura unit holds a convention on Friday in Agartala.
Krishak Sabha and Khet Majdoor Union also participated in this joint convention.
The convention has been organized on 14-point demands for the interests of the common people.
Speaking in the program General Secretary of CITU, Tripura Shankar Prasad Dutta said:
“The Narendra Modi-led government in the country has recklessly taken initiatives to silent the opposition”
” The Union Law Minister told that the former judges of the Supreme Court of the country are playing the role of treason. Lawyers of various states are forced to protest for this role of the government”
“one lakh farmers in the country have chosen the path of suicide in the last three years”
“one lakh and twelve thousand workers have chosen the path of suicide because they could not save their livelihood”
