Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik spent some time with the BSF soldiers guarding the border on the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights.
On this day, the Union Minister went to the Akhaura Integrated Check Post Agartala and lit the lamp.
After that, she went to the check post and took part in the retreat. Exchanged greetings with BSF officers and jawans. Lighted the lamp along with the BSF jawans at the border.
Sweets were handed over to BGB officials on duty at Akhaura border. She shared the joy of Diwali with the BSF jawans and officers on duty there.
Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik extended Diwali greetings. Every year BSF-Jawans share the joy of Diwali. This time was no exception. The entire state has joined the Diwali festival together.
