MoS Pratima Meets Vaishnaw. Demands More Train For Tripura

Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik met Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw with several important demands especially increasing rail connectivity in Tripura.

MoS Bhowmik asked to arrange another train from Tripura to Deoghar. The one train that currently operates in the state to Deoghar is weekly, so if a devotee goes to Deoghar, he/she has to wait at least seven days to return.

Besides, many devotees from the state visit Sri Lanka Bihari Dham Brindavan and Jagannath Dham, Puri.

MoS Appealed to the Union Railway Minister to start at least one weekly train for their convenience.

At the same time, since there is no dedicated train running from Agartala to Guwahati yet, she requested the Railway Minister to run a train on this route.

The Union Railway Minister immediately directed officials to make quick arrangements to run a demo train on Agartala and Guwahati routes.

This will benefit the businessmen of the state, increase the number of tourists in the state and also benefit the students from the state who travel to Guwahati for various exams.
