Last year in November, Mumbai University had conducted the fifth semester examination of B.Sc Maths. Its results were declared on Friday.
There was a lot of mistake in the released results. Senior Senate member Sanjay says that some students have been shown absent in the examination, while those students appeared in the examination.
Mistakes have come to light in the released results, some students have been given 115 marks out of 100 marks and one has been given 104 marks.
All these mistakes have happened in the group theory subject of fifth semester. Checking the PDF file of the result reveals that the total sum of marks awarded to many students has crossed 100 marks.

Sanjay says that giving more than 100 marks to students in a question paper is unforgivable. The university is constantly making mistakes, there is a shortage of regular staff.
He alleged that work is going on the basis of contractual employees. That’s why so many mistakes are coming out.
A university official says that ‘the errors occurred due to a technical glitch in the software. They will be rectified and soon the revised results will be released”.
