On Friday team Sudip Roy Barman organized a rally protesting the incident of attack on BJP national president JP Nadda in Kolkata. Barman along with MLA Ramprasad Paul, Ashish Saha, Sushanta Chowdhury organized this agitation rally. Hundreds of party activists took participate in the rally. Eight BJP workers were admitted to hospital and senior party leaders Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mukul Roy suffered minor injuries after the motorcade of the BJP national president J P Nadda was attacked with stones and sticks, allegedly by Trinamool Congress supporters, outside Kolkata on Thursday afternoon. Several cars in the convoy, which was headed to Diamond Harbour, the Lok Sabha constituency of Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, were damaged. The centre has summoned Bengal’s top police and administrative officers over Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar’s report to Home Minister Amit Shah detailing “deteriorating law and order” in the state after an attack on party chief JP Nadda’s convoy on Thursday. The Home Ministry has summoned the state’s Chief Secretary and police chief on Monday.
