National Film Awards 2023: ‘Sardar Udham’ Best Hindi Film.

Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Sardar Udham’ has won the National Award for Best Hindi Film. On Thursday the winners of the National Film Awards have been announced, in which 31 awards have been given in feature films, 24 in non-feature and 3 in writing. 

Apart from Best Hindi Film, Udham Singh has won awards in 4 other categories. 

Please tell that the film ‘Sardar Udham’ was released in the year 2021. The film is based on the life of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh, in which Vicky Kaushal has been seen playing his character. 

The film has not only been awarded the title of Best Hindi Film, but has also won the title of Best Cinematography, Best Production and Best Costume Designer.

The film ‘Sardar Udham’, made under the banner of Kino Works and Rising Sun Films, has been directed by Shoojit Sircar. 

It is a biographical historical drama film based on the life of freedom fighter Udham Singh of Punjab. Vicky Kaushal has played the lead role in the film. 

Sardar Udham Singh’s connection is Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He killed Michael O’Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.

Meanwhile South’s superstar Allu Arjun has been selected as the best actor. Apart from this, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon have been selected as Best Actress.

Allu Arjun won this award for Pushpa while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon won for their films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi .Best Actress has been selected for

Talking about the National Film Award, it is organized every year. In this, the Government of India forms a panel which gives awards in different categories like Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress and others related to the film world. 

This award ceremony is organized at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. There is also a special thing that the President of the country himself honors the winners with these awards.
