New Tripura Bhavan: CM Manik Saha Meets Lieutenant Governor Of Delhi

The state government is planning to construct new building on a large scale in Delhi for the benefit of the people of Tripura. 

Therefore, the Chief Minister of Tripura approached the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi with the request for allotment of necessary land. 

Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha wrote in a message on social media that there are currently two Tripura Bhabans in Delhi. But due to limited space, many Tripura residents who come to Delhi with various problems are not able to arrange rooms in the building. Hence, the Tripura government is planning to construct a new building on a large scale in Dwarka, Delhi. 

He also wrote, today had a courtesy meeting with Lt Governor of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena and discussed in detail with him the issue of allotment of space required for construction of new building.

There are currently two Tripura Bhabans in Delhi at Kautilya Marg in Chanakyapuri and Jeet Marg.

A lot of people from Tripura are constantly going to Delhi for various jobs including medical, education. Moreover, government officials are also regularly going to Delhi for work. All of them are staying in Tripura Bhavan. 

As a result, there is often a shortage of rooms. The construction of new building in Delhi will surely benefit the people of Tripura.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Friday called on Union Minister of State for Skill Development Rajib Chandrasekhar in New Delhi. 

Moreover, the Chief Minister also met Union Minister of State for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal on this day. The Chief Minister discussed various issues related to the interests of the state with the Union Minister of State for Law.
