After brutal killing of two BSF personnel by NLFT (BM) militants after an encounter near Indo-Bangla barbed wire fencing area of remote Manikpur village under Chawmanu police station of Dhalai district on Tuesday morning, the district police have launched massive manhunt in all interior parts of the district to nab ultras.
But as per latest report police yet to register success even gets any clue in this incident.
SDPO(Longtarai Valley) Ratna Sadhan Noatia said that after the encounter near the border pillar number-2276 inside barbed wire
fencing area under border outpost (BOP) of R
C Nath under Ohawmanu police station, in
which two BSF personnel including Sub-
Inspector Bhuru Singh and constable Raj
Kumar were martyred, police and other
security forces deployed in the district has continuing thesombing operation in all
vulnerable places collaborators of the militants.
Police sources said that they suspected
armed guerillas of NLFT(BM) faction had
organized the attack for the looting of
sophisticated arms and ammunition from BSF
personnel and they had escaped towards their
hideouts in neighbouring Bangladesh.
Sources added that BSF have also approached their counterpart in Bangladesh to launch a manhunt to detain responsible NLFT(BM) militants in their territory, but police also suspected that some collaborators hiding inside Indian territory are also responsible for attack on BSF personnel.
Police sources hoped that soon they will be
able to burst the entire conspiracy of NLFT and
will spoil their fresh resurgence bid.
