To challenge the Centre’s decision to hold NEET and JEE examination despite Covid-19 concerns, Chief ministers of seven states have agreed to move a petition in the Supreme Court. Meeting was attended by TMC chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha president and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. All four Congress CMs – Amarinder Singh in Punjab, Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan, Bhupesh Baghel in Chattisgarh and V Narayanasamy in Puducherry – were also present in the meeting.
