Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek has said that the ED has called for questioning on September 13 and the first meeting of the coordination committee of the opposition alliance INDIA will be held on the same day.

Countering these allegations of Abhishek Banerjee, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari said that being an accused in the case, Abhishek Banerjee cannot expect any special treatment from the central agency ED.
Suvendu Adhikari claimed that BJP has nothing to do with the investigation against Abhishek Banerjee.
Let us tell you that even before this, ED had issued a notice to Abhishek Banerjee and called him for questioning in the animal smuggling case. Abhishek Banerjee is TMC MP from Diamond Harbor Lok Sabha seat of Bengal.
