NSUI Tripura Delegates Meets Deceased SKM Student’s Family. Demands Justice

The unusual death of a student of Shri Krishna Mission School has caused a strong reaction in various circles including various student organizations. 

There has been a strong demand for proper investigation of the incident to take necessary action.

 Students organization NSUI has submitted a deputation to the State Director General of Police demanding an investigation into the unusual death of a student of Sri Krishna Mission School and arrest of the accused and strict penal action.

NSUI delegation visited the house of the deceased student in Jogendranagar on Sunday to meet the family members and express their condolences. 

After meeting the family members, the delegation led by NSUI state president Samrat Roy told reporters that the teachers of school are involved in the incident. They are also of the opinion that this incident happened as a result of excessive mental pressure and torture on the students.  

It is also alleged that in order to cover up the incident, some of the teachers of school are constantly pressuring the students not to open their mouths. 

NSUI state president Samrat Roy told reporters that they met the District Superintendent of Police and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and strict punitive measures through proper investigation of the incident. 

Condemning such incidents, the leaders advised the students to join the movement unitedly.

Notably Arkadip Majumdar the student of class 10 of Sri Krishna Mission School committed suicide in his house on December 19.

Parents and friends of Arkadip alleged that he was under mental torture of school teacher.
