Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused Congress of not giving reservation to the OBC community. During the Vijay Sankalp Maharally in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said that for decades, Congress did not give constitutional status to the OBC Commission. During this, PM Modi also attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi through gestures.
Elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17 November. With the hope of change of power, senior Congress leaders are continuously addressing election rallies in the state.
He said, “Some knowledgeable Congress leaders from Delhi are propagating my caste in their meetings. They are saying that Modi is OBC. Earlier, in the elections held in the country, these people were calling the entire OBC community a thief in the name of Modi.
Let us tell you that on November 10 (Friday), former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had targeted PM Modi regarding the caste census. He had said, “Narendra Modi ji used to say earlier – Brothers and sisters, I am OBC, but a few days ago in his speech he said that there is only one caste in the country – the poor. Ever since Congress has talked about caste census, caste has disappeared from Narendra Modi ji’s mind. Because he does not want to tell the truth of the country to the OBC, Dalit and tribal youth.
The Prime Minister said, “It is not hidden from anyone what they did to the Sahu community of Chhattisgarh. Therefore, the Congress’s mentality has to be recognised. This is the same Congress which has transformed the government from Panchayat to Parliament. “Raid, but did not give reservation to the OBC community. This is the same Congress, which did not give constitutional status to the OBC Commission for decades.”
He alleged, “Congress did not implement OBC reservation in medical colleges, but Modi guaranteed to do all these things and also showed them by completing them.” The Prime Minister said that in the first phase of voting held on November 7, the balloon of lies of Congress has been burst.
Meanwhile addressing a public meeting in Neemuch, Rahul Gandhi said , “I want to know what is the OBC population in the country. I know that the OBC population is about 50 percent. I have asked PM Modi to conduct a caste-based census.” Asked to do.”
Targeting the PM, Rahul Gandhi said, “PM Modi had said in a speech that there is no caste in India. There are only poor people in India. When our government comes to power in Madhya Pradesh, we will conduct a caste-based census. Let everyone know.” It should be about how much and how much their population is, they have a lot of power over the budget and government.”
The Congress leader further said, “The country is run by government officers. The government of Madhya Pradesh is run by Shivraj Singh Chouhan and 53 officers. Out of these 53 officers, there is only 1 officer from the backward class. Still, CM Shivraj and PM Modi say That there is a backward government in Madhya Pradesh.
Taking aim at PM Modi over OBC reservation, the Congress MP said, “Earlier Modi ji used to call himself OBC in his speeches, but ever since I started talking about caste census, Modi ji says. No one in the country There is no caste, only poor. Meaning there is only one OBC (Narendra Modi) in the country.
