Customs and Central Army jawans attack journalists to hide their failure. The incident took place on at the house of Digvijay Adhikari in Ramchhara area under Bishalgarh police station, Sepahijala District of Tripura.
According to the report a search was conducted under the leadership of Sujata Dham, Superintendent of Custom Office of Agartala Division.
Two journalists from Bishalgarh subdivision went to collect news on the information of the incident.
Custom officer Sujata Dham allegedly started misbehaving with the journalists after going to the spot and getting their professional identity.
Within a moment, a central force jawan attacked the journalists on the orders of Sujata Dham.
The central force soldier took away the mobile phones from the hands of the journalists and abused and pushed the journalists from the house.
It is known that the officials of the customs and central forces could not recover anything in the search of the day. It is alleged that journalists have been attacked to hide their failure.
The owner of the house, Digvijay Adhikari, said that during the search , custom and central forces broke the tiles of his house and dug a hole inside the house.
Moreover, all the furniture in the house, starting from the cupboard, has been demolished.
The owner of the house has demanded compensation for all this.
