One Arrested With Magazine, Two Pistols From Dharmanagar Railway Station

GRP police arrested a man with magazine and two pistols from Dharmanagar railway station. 

Dharmanagar GRP Police Station OC Uttam Kumar Kolai said that police of GRP police station regularly check trains at Dharmanagar railway station.

GRP Police and TSR started checking as the Agartala bound train from Silchar arrived at Dharmanagar railway station on Thursday night. 

Then several suspicious persons were checked. During checking, magazines and two pistols were recovered from one person. 

The man was immediately arrested. The arrested person identified as Bisik Chakma. Age 36 years. He is from Shitala Para of Manu under Dhalai District of Tripura. 

But Bisik Chakma live in Mukhchari area of ​​Karbook under Gomati district. 

After preliminary interrogation, Bisik Chakma admitted that he had bought two pistols from Dimapur, Assam, for sale in Bangladesh. 

The two pistols were supposed to be sold to a person named Sumon Chakma from Bangladesh. 

It is noted that Bisik Chakma was caught by the police with a firearm once before.
