Onion price once again making bound to cry the common people. At last the Food Department has taken initiative to control the price increase of onion in the market.
Maharajganj Bazar Traders Association has opened onion selling center at fair price in Maharajganj Bazar, Agartala.
Notably , onion price have increased in the markets of Tripura along with the rest of the country.
Suddenly, the price of onion has increased by Rs 20 per kg. Therefore, the food department trying to control the price of onion in the market.
Director of Food Department government of Tripura Nirmal Adhikari said that the price of onion has increased by Rs 20 per kg in various markets of the state. The Food Department has taken a special initiative to curb onion in the markets.
Hhe also said, wholesale price of onions will be sold at Rs 51 per kg and in the retail market at Rs 55.
