Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP’s Panchayati Raj Parishad program in Howrah, West Bengal through video conference on Saturday.
During this, he attacked the opposition and said that the opposition has betrayed the people of Manipur.
The Prime Minister said, ‘We defeated the no-confidence motion of the opposition in the Parliament and gave a befitting reply to those who spread negativity across the country. The members of the opposition left the parliament midway. The truth is that they were scared of voting on the no-confidence motion. If voting had taken place, the arrogant alliance would have been exposed”.
He also targeted the Mamta government.
PM Modi referred to the violence during the panchayat elections in Bengal and said that the Trinamool Congress ‘played a bloody game’ during the elections.
He also accused TMC of booth capturing.
