As soon as the National Election Commission announced the date of polls on January 18, removing the illegal hoardings and party flags along with flux started across the state.
Almost every day before the elections, administrative workers everywhere are covering the faces of Delhi and state leaders with paint.
According to the political analysts this is rare in the history of the state.
Billions of rupees are spent as the leaders promots their pictures hoarding flex on the walls wherever they are along the roads as crores of public money being spend in such campaigns.
Meanwhile Tripura BJP lodged complaints with Election Commission regarding removal of Prime Minister’s image and paint on his images.
” Several employees of the commission doing such things intentionally. It’s an offense. We strictly condemns it. We want strict action against such activity” said BJP.
“Narendra Modi is not a leader of a particular political party but the Prime Minister. Paint into his image is an offense” added BJP.
Notably Election Commission become strict regarding the upcoming Assembly polls in Tripura. Commission already suspended several government employees due to negligence in duty.
