Pakistan: At Least 52 Killed, Dozens Injured In Bomb Blast On Eid Milad-Un-Nabi

A suicide explosion took place near a mosque in Balochistan province on of PakistanFriday, September 29. According to news website Dawn, 52 people including a police officer have been killed in this explosion. 

Meanwhile, 52 people are died so far. This incident happened when people were gathering to celebrate Eid Miladunnabi on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad Sahib’s birthday.

According to Geo News report, the explosion took place near Madina Mosque in Mastung district. 

Mastung Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nawaz Gashkori, who was on duty for the rally, was also among those who lost their lives.

According to the report, City Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammad Javed Lehri said that it was a “suicide blast” and the attacker blew himself up next to the DSP’s car.

Balochistan’s interim Information Minister Jan Achakzai said that a rescue team has been sent to Mastung. Seriously injured people are being shifted to Quetta.

“The enemy wants to destroy religious harmony and peace in Balochistan with foreign help. This explosion is unbearable. 

Acting Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki has directed officials to arrest those responsible for the blast.
