Pharmacists Association, Tripura Demands Prevention Of Fake Degree

Recently, the state government has decided to recruit more than two hundred allopathic pharmacists. 

In view of this, the Indian Pharmacists Association Tripura branch organized a press conference at the Agartala Press Club on Friday morning to thank the state government.

Central President of Indian Pharmacists Association Abhay Kumar and Central Secretary General Bhupendra Kumar said that the notification issued to recruit more than two hundred pharmacists should be filled quickly. 

And they expressed hope that it will be possible to provide proper health services for the benefit of the people of the state. 

They also demanded that the nominated members of the Tripura State Pharmacy Council be reconstituted and the remaining six seats held at the earliest. 

However an important demand is that the Tripura Pharmacists Council must introduced a fast-track diploma exit exam for the youth who passed the diploma in pharmacy fraudulently.

They also demanded the government to prevent the youth who obtained fake degree without this test from getting pharmacist registration certificate.
