PM Modi Inaugurates Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Of CBI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Foundation Day of CBI on Monday at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. 

During this, PM Modi said that many achievements have been registered in the name of CBI. CBI has made its mark as a brand of justice. Now whenever something happens somewhere, the name of CBI inquiry remains on everyone’s lips. This is a huge achievement in itself. The PM said that the CBI should not spare any corrupt person, even if he is a powerful person.

PM Modi said that today people agitate for CBI investigation. Even today the demand arises that the investigation of such case should be done by CBI. CBI has the biggest role in ending corruption in the country. 

The PM said that after the year 2014, the government started a mission against corruption regarding black money.

Describing corruption as a big obstacle in the path of democracy, PM Narendra Modi said that the responsibility of the CBI is to free the country from corruption. Corruption is not a simple crime. Because of this the poor are deprived of their rights. Corruption gives rise to crimes. This becomes the biggest obstacle in the way of.

He said that due to corruption the youth do not get proper opportunities. Corruption is the biggest enemy of talent and it is from here that nepotism and familyism get strengthened.

Without taking the name of the Congress government, PM Modi said that during the period of slavery, people kept on empowering corruption. Earlier there used to be a competition to do corruption that if you did so much corruption then I will do so much corruption. Then the accused were relaxed. He knew that the system was with him. This broke the faith of the country.

The Prime Minister said that now the scope of CBI has become very big. In today’s time, CBI has to run from metropolis to jungle. 

The Central Home Ministry established the CBI on April 1, 1963. CBI is completing 50 years of its establishment.

In the program, PM Modi also released a postal stamp and a commemorative coin. Along with this, he also launched the Twitter page of CBI. The PMO has told that PM Modi honored the CBI officers by giving them medals in the ceremony. These officers are the ones who have been selected for the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. These include the officers who were announced to be awarded the Gold Medal for the Best Investigating Officer of the CBI.

Let us inform that during this time the Prime Minister will also inaugurate new offices of CBI in Pune and Nagpur of Maharashtra and Shillong of Meghalaya through video conferencing.
