Cleanliness drive has been launched across the country on Sunday under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Thousands of people of the country participated in this cleanliness campaign. On the Prime Minister’s appeal for a nationwide cleanliness campaign, people from all section of life, from leaders to students, took part in one-hour Shram daan on Sunday.
PM Modi participated in this cleanliness campaign (Swachhata Abhiyaan) along with Haryana’s fitness influencer Ankit Baiyanpuria. He has shared its video on his official social media account X.
In this video, he is seen donating labor under the cleanliness campaign. He is also seen sweeping the floor in the video.
While sharing the video, PM Modi wrote, “Today when the country is focusing on cleanliness, Ankit Bainpuriya and I have also done the same. Apart from cleanliness, we have also included fitness and happiness in it. All this It’s about the spirit of a clean and healthy India.”
In the latest episode of “Mann Ki Baat” program on October 1, PM Modi had appealed to all citizens to donate “one hour of shramdaan for cleanliness”.
The PM had said that it would be a “clean tribute” to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary.
