PM Modi Participated In Concluding Program Of ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday participated in the concluding program of ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ Amrit Kalash Yatra on Delhi’s Kartavya Path.

PM Modi paid tribute to the brave men and women by putting the soil brought from all over the country in the Bharat Kalash.

PM Modi also applied tilak. During this, he also launched ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ portal.

During this, the PM said- ‘The one who repays the debt of the soil, only he has life. That’s why the nectar urns that have come here, every bit of soil inside them is priceless. 

PM Modi addressed thousands of Amrit Kalash pilgrims who came from all over the country to participate in this program.

He said, “Just as the countrymen started joining the Dandi March, similarly the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence saw such a huge crowd of public participation that a new history was made.” Referring to the laying of the foundation of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ organization, the PM said that it is going to play a big role in nation building in the 21st century.

PM Modi said, “The ‘Meri Mati-Mera Desh’ campaign is a direct example of how the youth of India can unite and achieve every goal. Crores of youth from every village and every street of the country are involved in this campaign. Lakhs of events took place across the country and countless Indians poured soil from their courtyards and fields into the Amrit Kalash with their own hands.


He said that great civilizations have ended, but there is consciousness and life force in the soil of India, which has kept this nation safe from ancient times till today.

Modi said, “This is the soil which connects our souls to every corner of the country through intimacy and spirituality. Our heroes fought for freedom by taking oath on this soil. The soil that has reached here from every corner of the country will continue to remind us of our sense of duty. This soil will continue to inspire more hard work to achieve our resolve of a developed India.

The Prime Minister said that Amrit Mahotsav has connected the missing pages of history with future generations .

Besides, a huge district wise database of freedom fighters has also been prepared. PM Modi said- “India has achieved historic achievements during this Amrit Mahotsav. We successfully faced the biggest crisis of the century, the Corona period. During this time, we created a roadmap for a developed India. India became the fifth largest economy in the world. “Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed.”


PM said – “By the time the country celebrates 100 years of independence, India has to be made a developed country. On completion of 100 years of independence, the country will remember this special day. The resolution we took “We have to fulfill the promises we made to the coming generations. That’s why we have to intensify our efforts.”

Before this, PM Modi also saw a digital exhibition of Amrit Kalash Yatra. 8500 nectar urns filled with soil from villages across the country have been brought to Delhi. It has been collected in Bharat Kalash kept near the duty path since October 30.

In this program, PM also inaugurated Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial.

During the program, all the people present there took a bundle of clay in their hands and in accordance with the call of ‘five pledges’ made by Prime Minister Modi on the last Independence Day, to realize the dream of making India a self-reliant and developed nation by 2047, ending slavery.

Pledged to uproot this mentality and be proud of the country’s rich heritage. All the Union Ministers, MPs and leaders present there including Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took this oath.

Under the ‘Meri Mati-Mera Desh’ campaign, more than 2,30,000 ‘stone slabs’ have been created in 36 states and union territories. In support of this, about four crore selfies depicting Panch-Pran have been uploaded on social media.
