Prime Minister Narenda Modi Will inaugurate the new Parliament House on 28 May.
According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Speaker Om Birla met PM Modi on Thursday (May 18) and invited him to inaugurate the new Parliament House.
According to the statement, the work of the new parliament building has been completed. PM Modi is going to inaugurate at a time when 9 years of his tenure are being completed.
In December 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the new Parliament House, which will have modern facilities.
Tata Projects Limited is constructing this new building of Parliament. The building will have a grand Constitution Hall, a lounge for Members of Parliament, a library, several committee rooms, dining areas and ample parking space to showcase India’s democratic heritage.
The original deadline to complete the project was November last year.
