Police Action, Inhuman Govt: 10323 Terminated Teachers To Observe Black Day On January 27

The Joint Movement Committee of 10323 terminated teachers has called for the observance of Black Day on January 27.

The leaders of the organization told reporters on Tuesday that on the morning of January 27 last year, the police broke up the protest ground near the city center and arrested the protester teachers.

JMC 10323 said that they had organized the democratic movement in front of the city center since December 6 last year to get their jobs back. After 52 days, their movement was stopped by the police without informing them in advance.

That is why they have decided to observe January 27 as Black Day. They have announced that they will observe this day as a black day until they get their jobs back.

The protesters said that each of them would have to give a termination letter from the Education Department or else they would have to return their job. JMC 10323 also said that the movement will continue until they get their job back.

The sacked teachers also criticized the ‘inhuman’ role of the state government as government yet to take any decision regarding their job. Notably, 10323 terminated teachers are jobless since last 22 months.
