President Draupadi Murmu will confer the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2023 on Monday to 11 children of the country for their exceptional achievements.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with PMRBP winners on Tuesday.
Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani will also interact and congratulate the winning children in the presence of Minister of State for Women and Child Development Munjpara Mahendrabhai, according to an official statement.
The children who received PMRBP included six boys and five girls from 11 states and union territories. Each winner will be given a medal, a cash prize of Rs one lakh and a certificate.
The Central Government presents the PMRBP Awards to the children for their exceptional achievements.
The award is given to children in the age group of five to 18 years for their exceptional achievements in the field of art and culture, bravery, innovation, education, social service and sports, which deserve recognition at the national level.
According to the statement, this year four Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskars will be given for exceptional achievement in the field of art and culture, one for bravery, two for innovation, one for social service and three in the field of sports.
