REGA Wages Pending For 40 Days. Workers Blocked Road In 3 Places In Amarpur

REGA workers blockade road for wages. The workers joined the road blockade from Friday morning. REGA workers blocked roads at three places in Ambasa subdivision.

Roads were blocked in Harinchara, 9 miles and Dermiles areas of Ambasa subdivision of Gomati District.

The statement of REGA workers is that they are not being paid the wages of REGA work for about 40 days. So they blocked the road .

As a result of the road blockade since morning, vehicles ranging from traders to small and large vehicles were stuck at all three places. Although the road blockade continued since morning, no official of the administration went to the blockade site.

After a long time, BDO M Debbarma of Ambasa block went to the spot. Talked to the road blockers. And promised to pay the 40-day wages as soon as possible.

Ganganagar weekly market was held on this day. Traders were stuck as a result of the road blockade. Naturally they suffer on this day.
