During this, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya instructed to review mock drills in hospitals and increase testing.
The Health Minister held a virtual meeting with the Health Ministers and Principal Secretaries/Additional Chief Secretaries of all the States, in which he advised the States to remain alert and fully prepared for COVID-19 management.
The Center has advised state health ministers to conduct mock drills for review of all hospitals on April 10 and 11 and review health preparedness with district administration and health officials on April 8 and 9.
Apart from this, Minister Mandaviya emphasized on focusing on Covid Guidelines with Covid Testing and Genome Sequencing.
He said that we have to be alert and do not spread fear.
At present, the sub-variant of Omicron is spreading in the country. In this, the patient does not need to be admitted to the hospital.
Talking about the figures, new corona cases are again increasing in the country.
In the last 24 hours, 6050 new cases were recorded in the country. While the number of deaths has also increased to 14. The figure of active cases has also increased to 28 thousand 303.
