In 2016, the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India declared Dhanvantari’s birthday as National Ayurveda Day.
Accordingly “Run for Ayurveda” was organized on Sunday by the AYUSH Mission Government of Tripura.
Ahead of the National Ayurvedic Day on 10th November the rally has been organized.
On this day, the awareness procession started in front of Agartala Rabindra Bhavan and traveled the various roads of the capital and ended in front of the State Ayurvedic Hospital located at Paradise Chowmuhani.
National Health Mission Mission Director DK Chakma and others were present in the procession.
Speaking with the press Chakma said that ” This year our theme is Ayurveda for all. During last one month we have organized awareness campaign about the benefits of Ayurveda among farmers and students”.
