Sanitation workers went on indefinite strike at Shantir Bazar District Hospital from Wednesday morning demanding proper wages. Sanitation workers are constantly working to keep Shantir Bazar District Hospital clean.
At present there are 25 sanitation workers in the district hospital.
They complain that KDS company is not paying their wages for almost two and a half months. The cleaners said they have been working in the district hospital for the past many years. They still don’t know exactly what their monthly salary is.
They said the media that they will strike until their demands are not accepted.
