Special Train Between Agartala-Kolkata-Agartala Via Deoghar: NF Railway

To reduce overcrowding of passengers, North East Frontier Railway has decided to run a special train between Agartala-Kolkata-Agartala via Via Deoghar for one trip in both directions. 

Additionally, it has also been decided to continue the service of special train running between Dibrugarh-SMVT-Dibrugarh for 13 more trips in both directions from August 02 to October 28, 2022 to reduce overcrowding of passengers.   

Train no. 05628 (Agartala-Kolkata) Special will leave Agartala on Saturday 6 August at 3 PM and reach Kolkata on Monday 8 August at 08.50 AM. Train no. 05627 (Kolkata-Agartala) Special will leave Kolkata on Tuesday 09 August at 6 AM and arrive Agartala Railway Station at 3 AM on Thursday 11 August. 

This special train will have 16 coaches. It consists of one AC-3 tier coach, six sleeper class coaches, seven ordinary second class coaches and two baggage cum guard vans.

02986/02987 in case of improved communication towards southern part of India to facilitate movement of passengers from Upper Assam. (Dibrugarh – SMVT Bangalore – Dibrugarh) train will run as per its existing schedule, stops and formation.

Also, train no. The movement of 05801/05802 New Bangaigaon-Guwahati-New Bangaigaon Passenger Special was extended upto Jagiroad upto 02 August. Now the extension to Jagiroad has been extended till September 30.

Details of stoppages and timetables of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also indexed in various newspapers and social media platforms of North East Frontier Railway.
