Indian low-cost airline SpiceJet has announced several new services under the UDAN scheme.
Two of the international flights will connect the two cities in the Northeast with nearby destinations in Myanmar and Bangladesh.
SpiceJet’s international flights will connect Agartala in Tripura with Chattogram in Bangladesh.
The second flight will connect Imphal in Manipur to Mandalay in Myanmar.
Both these flight services are expected to be operational by the end of June this year.
SpiceJet is also planning to launch a new UDAN flight on the Kolkata-Tezpur-Kolkata sector.
In addition, SpiceJet to commence flights on the Kolkata-Agartala-Kolkata and Kolkata-Imphal-Kolkata sectors and resume flights on the Kolkata-Chattagram-Kolkata sector.
