Taruni Ghosh, Biology Life Science teacher of Class XII English Medium School, Shalagra, Udaipur has been transferred from Shalagra English Medium HS School and posted elsewhere.
In protest against this, the students of the school blocked the Shalgarh Udaipur road from ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday.
Many vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road in that area due to the blockade. Emergency services were disrupted for some time.
Pedestrians also face severe problems. The only demand of the students is that the life science teacher cannot be transferred.
The headmistress of the school said the students sat on the road without permission from the teacher. There are 25 teachers and 1250 students in this school. However, after a long blockade, traffic was freed.
