The SUCI(C) Tripura State Organizing Committee has demanded immediate withdrawal of the electricity tariff hike decision.
SUCI has strongly protested the announcement of The Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission to implement increased tariff from October 1.
“Electricity tariff has been increased by seven percent in one step. Common people are already complaining about the unbridled increase in the prices of daily necessities, and on top of that, the increase in electricity charges” Said SUCI.
Therefore, SUCI(C) demands immediate withdrawal of this increased tariff, stop load shedding and low-voltage, improve quality of electricity service.
Along with these demands, party also urged to come forward in a united movement to all the electricity consumers of the state irrespective of party affiliation.
