This year it is on Thursday and everyone is waiting for the arrival of Goddess of wealth. This is exactly five days after Dussehra or Vijaya Dashami, the day which marks the end of Durga Puja celebration in Bengal. But the price hike of daily goods are creating trouble for the common mass. As the price of everything has hit the market, the price of the things like flowers, fruits and vegetables has also gone high that has increased trouble for the middle class of Tripura. But, ignoring all these issues everyone is eagerly waiting for the Goddess of wealth to welcome her. At present, the price of apples Rs 150-250per kg, Sweet Lime (Musambi) Rs 25-35 pair, Banana Rs 40 a hali. Paniphal Rs 120 per kg, Guava Rs 140 per kg, Coconut Rs 50-700 per piece, Price of flowers have also increased. Price of pulses like Mung Dal RS 130-150per kg, Masur dal Rs 120 per kg etc. The price has hit the market so much that it has led to huge pocket pinch for the common mass.
