Surjamaninagar 132 KV Power Sub-Station To Be Upgraded To 400 KV. Centre Approved: Ratan Nath

“Surjamaninagar 132 KV power sub-station will be upgraded to 400 KV. This plan keeps in mind the needs of the future. The electricity demand in the state will be 703 MW in 2030-31. Therefore, in addition to power generation in advance, a strong power supply system should be prepared. For this reason, the idea of ​​making 400 KV sub-station is 132 KV sub-station at Surjamaninagar. The approval has been received from the center.”

This is said by the power minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath.

Minister Ratan Lal Nath, secretary of the department, CMD and other officials went there on Wednesday to see everything.

Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath also said that Palatana, Manarchak, Rukhia, Baramura and RC Nagar NIPCO will be connected with Surjamaninagar sub station.

Besides, the Bangladesh line will also be connected here, the minister said.

He said that after the completion of 400 KV sub station, it will be recognized as a power hub in the state.

The Power Minister also said that if 400 KV substation is built, there will not be any major problem of electricity in the next 15-20 years. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 191 crore 20 lakh.

On this day, the minister thanked all the officials and workers of the department for providing good electricity service during Durga Puja. He said that he is sending greetings to everyone individually.
