One person seriously injured in wild elephant attack . The Incident took place on Tuesday late night at Champlai area in East Laxmipur TTAADC village.
According to the repot a resident of Champlai area named Arun Debbarma has been attacked by wild elephant while he was on his way home after his personal work.
As a result of this attack, this person was immediately laid down to the ground.
Later, the local residents of the area witnessed the incident and rescued this man from an injured condition and brought him to Teliamura Hospital at night.
Currently his treatment is going on at Teliamura Hospital.
On the other hand Tuesday late night wild elephants attacked into several houses in the dark of night in Champlai area and destroyed various valuables including house furniture.
An atmosphere of panic has been created in the area due to this incident.
“Teliamura Forest Department has not taken any arrangements to protect people from the elephant rampage” Said the residents.
