The two-day 53rd State Conference of Tripura Government Employees Association (TGEA) will be held at Agartala Town Hall on December 9-10.
On this occasion, a blood donation camp was organized at Agartala on Sunday under the initiative of the organization. A total of 38 people voluntarily donated blood in the camp.
The Tripura Government Employees Association (TGEA) has undertaken various programs in the run-up to the organization’s 53rd state conference, including a voluntary blood donation camp as well as a felicitation of former leaders and teachers.
As part of the programme, a blood donation camp was organized at the central building of Tripura Government Employees Association in the capital Agartala . An awareness discussion on blood donation was held at the central building of the association at the beginning of the blood donation camp.
Chairman of TECC (HB Road) Mahua Roy, General Secretary of TGEA Pijush Kanti Dutta, General Secretary Jayanta Dutta Majumdar and other leaders discussed extensively about the necessity of blood donation and the responsibility of organizations in donating blood.
A total of 38 people, including 3 women, donated blood in the blood donation camp organized after the meeting. A lot of enthusiasm was observed among the workers of the organization on this day centered around the blood donation camp.
TGEA general secretary Pijush Kanti Dutta said that the two-day long 53rd state conference of TGEA will be organized at Agartala Town Hall on December 9-10. Earlier, the work of local and sub-divisional conferences of the organization is going on in full swing despite the current adverse environment. As well as this blood donation camp is one of the programs organized ahead of the organization’s state conference.
Also, on the initiative of the organization, on November 25, the former leaders of the organization will be felicitated and on November 26, the state-based teacher convention will be held at the TGEA central building.
