The Projects Inaugurated By PM Modi In Tripura

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Dental College and State Institute of Hotel Management in Tripura on Sunday. 

He also participated in the inauguration ceremony of houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stones of several road projects.

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several projects worth over Rs 4,350 crore in Tripura. 

The Prime Minister launched the ‘Griha Pravesh’ program in Tripura. He unveiled the residences that have been constructed under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’. These residences have been built at an investment of over Rs 3,400 crore. As a result, more than 2 lakh poor families will be benefited.

In order to improve the road connectivity in Tripura, the work of widening the Agartala bypass of the National Highway No. 8 has been started by the hands of the Prime Minister. 

The road from Khayerpur to Amtali will be widened and reconstructed. As a result, the problem of traffic congestion in Agartala city is expected to be solved. 

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of 230 km long 32 roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. 

In addition, he also started the development work of 112 roads up to a distance of 540 km on this day.
