Tipra Motha, the main opposition party of Tripura called for a 12-hour Bandh in the TTAADC area on September 30 to put pressure on the central government.
Tipra Motha supremo and former chairman Pradyot Kishore Debbarman made the announcement in a press conference on Saturday after a meeting with the party leadership on Friday.
He said, challenge will be there with the central government regarding the constitutional demands. Therefore, the tribal of the state need to raise their voices in one voice in this bandh. So that this voice reaches Delhi. Because Delhi will not hear if it is not put under pressure. Therefore, the bandh will continue from 6 am to 6 pm on September 30. Emergency services will remain same.
” And if this bandh is supported by any organization, party or any section of people from outside then it will be welcomed” In the press conference he said.
“This demand is for the realization of the rights of the tribal . Every time we went Delhi to discuss with the government, the rights of the tribal are discussed. Pradyot Kishore Debavarman did not speak for Ujayanta Palace reforms, talks with the government to meet the constitutional debuted demands to protect the new generation of the tribal” he said.
“Tipra Motha fought for two seats and rigged votes for the benefit of the ruling party- Motha decided not to field a candidate in the by-election after this complaint was raised after the last assembly election”
“CPIM has written books to know how to ragging. They talked to the opposition in the last assembly elections and declared candidates for 47 seats without informing anyone” Pradyot expressed dissatisfaction with the role of CPIM.
