Tipra Motha to call for Tripura bandh shortly. Tipra Motha has taken this decision to put pressure on the Center for a constitutional solution to the problems of the indigenous people.
Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma made this announcement after holding a meeting with officials in New Delhi.
Manikya organized a press conference on Friday. He said that we have decided on Tripura bandh to emphasize our demands. Date will be announced shortly . Our demand is not against any community. This demand is in favor of Tiprasa people. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been supportive of our demand. Tripura bandh is a demonstration of its power before the Centre. This is the time when we will prove our strength. They will not take us seriously until we show our unity and strength.
He has also appealed to the people to support the bandh.
The party chief said that the development of Tripura is not possible without the development of the tribal of Tripura. BJP claimed a lot about this in its election announcements but did not actually do anything about it. We have to explain to the Center that injustice has been done to the people of Tiprasa. If you work for us we will support you otherwise you will have to face our oppose.
