“Total 1128 Booths Are Sensitive” CEO Tripura In ‘Meet The Press’

Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Gitte participated in ‘Meet the Press’ program organized by Agartala Press Club on Wednesday. 

Speaking with the press CEO Tripura said:

“After adopting the mission of Zero Pool Violence, various incidents have been prevented in several districts. In this case, the hotspots are in the south and west Tripura districts. Some sporadic incidents are happening in these two districts. It is not possible to reduce the incidents of terror to zero in one day”.

“But the commission has undertaken this mission to reduce that figure”

He also claimed that the graph of crime incidents is gradually going down around the elections. Keep in mind that elections will come and end. After the elections, everyone should also keep an eye on the image of the state throughout the country.

“More than 600 complaints have been filed so far. Out of which 480 cases have been resolved” said Gitte.

A total of 1128 booths are sensitive in the state. Chief Electoral Officer wishes everyone on National Voter’s Day. 

Notably National Voter’s Day is being celebrated for the last 13 years. Five issues have been given importance in this year’s election. 56 percent more voters have been enrolled than in 2018. Bru voters have been renamed. 17 thousand voters have been registered. 

CEO Tripura also said that all types of technology are being used for election.
