TET Candidates of Tripura holds a press conference on Friday and alleged against Teachers Recruitment Board Of Tripura, TRBT.
Speaking in the press conference they said that:
“TRBT did not take initiative to give correct starmarks even after the mistake in the TET exam question paper. TET exam is conducted on 29th and 30th December 2022 through TRBT. There were several mistakes in spelling and in the question paper. At the end of the exam, the candidates brought the matter to the attention of TRBT several times. The Controller of Examinations of TRBT assured them that all these matters will be verified through experts. 22 questions are challenged in TET I and 31 questions in TET II”
“But on Thursday, TRBT released the final answer. It gave a star mark in one question in the TET-I exam paper. And out of 31 questions in TET-II four in arts section has been given star marks”
“In this situation, TRBT did not award star marks to out of-syllabus questions. Then there are spelling mistakes in the answer sheet. No star marks were given for that also. TRBT released the final key without resolving these three issues”
The candidates demanded that these problems be solved during the publication of the final answer key.
8 star marks were given in 2018 and 9 star marks in 2021. They questioned why they are being deprived. The TET candidates appealed to the Chief Minister to consider the matter seriously.
