Tribal Students Led By NSUI Stages Protest Demanding Pending Stipend

Students stages protest in front of Tribal Welfare Department demanding payment of pending stipend on Thursday. 

On this day, the tribal students were led by Samrat Roy, the Tripura State President of NSUI. 

Roy warned that if the stipend is not given to the students immediately, the officials of the department will be locked up.

On this day, Samrat Roy, the student leader, said that for a long time, the tribal students are not getting stipend. This stipend is very important for the students. Because, students bear the cost of education with the money of this stipend. 

“Students of tribal community are continuing their studies out of the state with the stipend money. As they are not getting the money now they are facing various problems” said NSUI Tripura President Samrat Roy.
