Ahead of the Assembly ElectionsTripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress has taken up agitation program across the state with various demands including deterioration of law and order, unemployment, increase in prices of goods in the state.
In view of this, on Friday (December 30), a meeting was organized by the party at the Orient Chowmuhani area of the capital, Agartala.
It was attended by Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Party President Pijush Kanti Biswas, Member of Parliament Sushmita Dev and others.
Sushmita Dev said that the Tripura Assembly elections are going to be held in the next one to one and a half months. Soon the people of Tripura state will decide which party or representative the people of the state will stand with for the next five years. Bharatiya Janata Party has done nothing for the people.
“BJP is not short of money. The common people are being forcefully brought to public meetings using government bureaucrats. But the Trinamool Congress is raising its voice against BJP’s Joomla politics, politics of lies and treacherous politics”
She also claimed that Trinamool Congress is working to expose the veil of BJP in Tripura.
On the other hand Pijush Biswas, President of Pradesh Trinamool Congress hits both CPIM and Congress for their proposed alliance in Tripura.
He also said, BJP cheated the common people of Tripura, unemployed youths, working class, employees.
