Tripura: 10323 Sacked Teachers Blocked Road Demanding Appointment Of CM


‘10,323’ unemployed sacked teachers of Tripura came to meet the Chief Minister of the state Manik Saha in his official residence on Thursday.

After the 64-day hunger strike they came to meet the CM with the petition to talk with the CM only for five minutes.

But the police stopped them on the way at the gate of the Chief Minister.

Then the protesters sat on the road at Loknath Ashram and demanded Chief Minister should give five minutes to speak.

Due to this the road became blocked from both side and traffic became stucked.

In the main time police detained some teachers and took away from the spot.

Later 10323 sacked teachers said:

” We want only five to 10 minutes from the CM. Will submit our demands that either you send us in schools as earlier or give us termination latter”

” According to our sources Chief Minister likely to give us time in one or two days and that’s why we are going back to our stage of movement “
