Tripura: 4 Including Women Injured In BSF Action In Konabon

Serious allegations of attacks on common people have been made against BSF in Konabon area.

 Four villagers, including two women, were seriously injured in the alleged BSF attack in Konabon area under West Tripura District on Monday night.

The injured have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. A very tense situation is prevailing in the border area village over this incident.

“BSF jawans continue unnecessary attack on the common people without taking any action against the smugglers” alleged the people living in the border area. 

Legal action has been demanded against the accused BSF jawans.

According to the report 150 BSF Company Commander Surendra Singh allegedly tortured the common people of Radhanagar, Konabon area and two men including two women were also allegedly injured in this incident. 

The entire incident sparked tension throughout the night on Monday in Radhanagar area.

A total of four people including two women were referred to Hapania Hospital after treatment at Madhupur Primary Health Center.

Later, a case was filed against the accused company commander Surendra Singh at Madhupur police station alleging torture on women and attack into houses .

As per the report Raj Lashkar son of Haripada Lashkar of Radhanagar Konabon area and other friends were playing carrom board when Company Commander Surendra Singh with several BSFs suddenly attacked them. 

Raju Lashkar’s father Haripad Lashkar, mother Mithu Lashkar and a woman from the neighboring house Kakali Dasan came running.

Even the women were allegedly not spared from the BSF attack.
