Smuggler-BSF clash reported from Ashabari under Melaghar Subdivision, Tripura, in which one smuggler injured seriously.
According the report the injured smuggler is Vice President of BJP Boxanagar Mandal. He is identified as Abul Hossain.
Clash took place on the Ashabari BOP near gate number 174 on Tuesday night.
The clash started when BSF detained several smugglers with cows and Cannabis.
” The smugglers continued to smuggle the cow and cannabis despite BSF forbid. Moreover the smugglers attacked the BSF Jawans with sharp weapons. In retaliation BSF fired bullet of rubber in which one smuggler injured” said an official.
The injured smuggler has been referred to GBP Hospital from Boxanagar hospital in serious condition.
According to the hospital sources the bullet of BSF hits in the head and leg of Abul Hossain.
